Washington and Lee University offers family and medical leave in accordance with the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA). The FMLA entitles eligible employees to take unpaid, job-protected leave for specified family and medical reasons with continuation of benefits, if applicable, under the same terms and conditions as if the employee had not taken leave.
For full details about FMLA, see the Department of Labor’s FMLA website.
Please contact the Manager of Employee Leaves and Disability Accommodations in Human Resources with any questions you may have, and to determine of you are eligible.
