No. You can apply for computer funding after July 1 and until May 1 each year but funding is only released from the Business Office between September 10 and May 15. Please be aware that each Class has a December 1 deadline for final funding.
You can purchase a computer for any amount but the grant funding is limited to $1,200. Any approved computer request in excess of $1,200 will be funded at $1,200.
You are allowed only one computer adjustment for the four years. Please plan accordingly. If you need an additional computer you will have the option to borrow under the W&L student loan program.
No. Health Insurance is built into your financial aid package and you will not receive additional funds.
Yes. You will need to get it preapproved by the financial aid office and it will need to be due to an emergency or some justifiable situation.
No. Just sign up for the shuttle during the normally scheduled times, and ride the shuttle. You will be billed on your student account, but the financial aid office will increase your grant to cover the cost. It does sometimes take a few weeks to make this adjustment as we do not receive the notice of who has use the shuttle until after each month.
