A very short hike. This trail runs parallel to the Pedlar River. After a quarter of a mile walk downstream and look for the large boulders. The 10-foot high falls and pool are definitely a great idea for those hot summer days!
Directions
Take US 60 East for 10 mile from Lexington through Buena Vista to the crest of the Blue Ridge and under the Blue Ridge Parkway. The turnoff to Panther Falls is immediately on the right after passing under the Blue Ridge Parkway. Drive down this gravel road 3 miles and look for the Panther Falls trail parking.
