MicroFridge
Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the program for convenience and compliance with housing appliance guidelines. Proceeds from the program support W&L Housing & Residence Life.
Room Limits
- Single rooms may have one MicroFridge unit OR one personal mini-refrigerator (3.1 cubic feet) and personal 700-watt microwave.
- Double- and triple-occupancy rooms may have one MicroFridge unit and one personal mini refrigerator no larger than 3.1 cubic feet.
- Only one microwave is permitted per room, regardless of room type or equipment configuration. A microwave may not exceed 700 watts.
- All MicroFridge and mini refrigerator units must be plugged directly into separate wall outlets (do not plug into power strips or surge protectors).
Student Responsibilities
- Students are responsible for the proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of personally owned or rented appliances.
- Appliance privileges may be revoked, and equipment confiscated if an appliance poses a health or safety risk.
- Questions, repairs, or service requests for rented MicroFridge units should be directed to the rental provider:

- Service requests for university-owned appliances should be submitted through Limble.
- The university does not provide repair or maintenance services for students’ personal appliances or belongings.
