University Resources for Community Members

W&L offers community members access to several resources throughout the university. Below is a list of select resources.

Resource Description

Community-based organizations that would like students to support their work can connect with the Office of Community-Based Learning or the Shepherd Program to discuss their needs and aspirations.
Legal Clinics Through clinics, W&L Law offers different types of legal assistance to meet needs in the region.

ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages)

ESOL is a student organization that offers various services to speakers of other languages. ESOL also offers services to education, health, and housing providers who work with speakers of other languages.
Blue Ridge Mile The Blue Ridge Mile Clinic, in collaboration with Drive-To-Work, aims to support clients in navigating the steps required to obtain or reinstate a driver’s license, learn about and attempt to address the systematic and personal challenges of the processes, and gain an understanding of the district court and DMV practices.
