At Washington and Lee University, Transact Payments (wluPay) allows users to view bills and make electronic payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any location via the internet. Around the 15th of each month, bill statements are released, and an email notice is sent to registered users.
Due to Federal student privacy regulations (FERPA), students must register first. After that, students can “Add an Authorized Party” and invite parents or guardians to register and view the account.
W&L has contracted with Transact Payments, formerly Tuition Management System (TMS), to provide more convenience and ease for our families to manage their education expenses in a one-stop, real time environment. The wluPay portal will allow families to receive billing statements, view up-to-the-minute account activity, make payments, and enroll in an optional semester monthly payment plan.
E-bill email notifications are sent on 15th of each month. Payment is due by the 10th of the following month. Outstanding balances are subject to a late fee. Students with past-due accounts may not be able to register for courses.
The Office of Financial Aid offers information on their website. Additionally, on the Financial Aid website there is a First-Year Student Quick Facts on Financial Aid section with more information specifically for the incoming class. The Financial Aid office is available Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm ET and can be reached at 540-458-8717 or at financialaid@wlu.edu.
