Session Overview

Choosing a college is about more than comparing rankings and brochures—it’s about finding the place that’s the best fit for your goals, interests, and aspirations. In this virtual Admissions Academy session, Washington and Lee admissions officers will share practical strategies for evaluating colleges and making the most of your college search.
You’ll learn how to compare schools beyond the numbers, identify meaningful ways to engage with current students, faculty, staff, and alumni, and understand what “demonstrated interest” means at colleges that consider it as part of the admissions process. We’ll conclude with a live Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions about the college search and the admissions process.
