Spring is a busy time of year. And Lexington may not be a short daytrip for you. Please consider joining our alumni and other admitted students at a reception for you in a number of cities across the U.S.
How does a school become a home? How does the world become your classroom? At W&L, your education is just the beginning. Find out more about what it's like to live and learn in Lexington from current students in the videos below.
This is an exciting time of year at Washington and Lee. In addition to admitting the newest members of our community, our current students are prepping for year-end experiences that take their education in new directions. Take a moment to see what awaits you as a first-year student. Fun and challenging coursework and co-curricular opportunities can begin this summer, before school even starts, and extend through the following summer.
As you make your final choice of where to attend college, or you begin to think about all that must happen between now and your first day on campus, you're sure to have questions. Knowing who to contact shouldn't be one.
We affectionately call the campus and surrounding city of Lexington "LexVegas." It's a happening area, with something for everyone. From downtown to the great outdoors, from the campus commons living room to the basement stage of Friday Underground. Follow our student-run social media team, @wluLex, to get a feel for what it's like to be a student.
We've created a Facebook group for the W&L Class of 2022. The group is only available to students who have already joined the class and it is moderated by our student-led First-Year Orientation Committee. Don't be shy to ask questions -- someone else likely has the same question. These current sophomores and juniors have the answer.
