Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
The Washington and Lee Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program collaborates with the IRS to provide free tax preparation services for members of the community.
Students earn IRS certification by passing a series of exams and then prepare and review tax returns that fall within the IRS’s mandated scope of service during designated site hours.
