Spring Term Abroad Travel Courses

Spring Term Abroad (STA) is a special part of the Washington and Lee curriculum and experience. These courses allow students to get an up-close, intensive, and personal experience of the subject matter on-site with a W&L faculty member during the spring term.

Spring Term Course Enhancement Funding

The Provost’s Office has limited funding available for course enhancement support for our Spring Term courses. Such enhancements might include a site visit or field trip, bringing in an outside speaker, attending a play or concert, and in some cases purchase of needed supplies or materials. Enhancements can range from $50 to a maximum of $2000 and must be specific to the Spring Term course.
