5th Reunion

The Class of 2019

Your 5th Reunion is here! It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since the Class of 2019 was last together, gathered in front of the Colonnade to celebrate your commencement ceremony. In the short time since then, each of you has gone on to accomplish amazing things. You’ve traveled the world, started new careers and moved to new places. For five years you have been great stewards of the Washington and Lee legacy. Now it’s time to celebrate!

W&L cannot wait to welcome you back home for your 5th Reunion celebration. This exciting time together will take place on campus during Young Alumni Weekend, September 13—15 of 2024!

The Annual Fund

A major part of your reunion celebration is your class gift in support of the Annual Fund. W&L's annual giving program has expanded to allow for directed gifts to key areas of university operations. Directed giving recognizes the personal nature of philanthropy. Now you can give directly to those areas of the university of greatest personal significance. Gifts directed to financial aid, academics, the arts, athletics, diversity and inclusion, and student opportunities allow us to provide unparalleled education and experiences, year after year. Gifts made without direction will continue to support the university's remaining areas of greatest need.

All gifts and pledges made by class members to the W&L Annual Fund during the July 1, 2023 — June 30, 2024 fiscal year will make up the class gift.

The Class of 2019 5th Reunion Annual Fund Scholarship

As part of the 5th reunion class gift, your class will have the exciting opportunity to establish an Annual Fund scholarship, to support a newly admitted student in the Class of 2028. To support this effort, all multi-year pledge gifts designated to Financial Aid will go toward establishing The Class of 2019 5th Reunion Annual Fund Scholarship

This scholarship will support a student with demonstrated financial need throughout their four years at W&L. Support the effort, and make your multi-year pledge today.

For any questions about the 5th reunion gift or the class scholarship, please contact Steve Wasser, Director of Regional Leadership Giving.

*All gifts made toward the scholarship will count toward the greater class reunion gift for the Annual Fund.
