Harte Center for Teaching and Learning

The Harte Center for Teaching and Learning is pleased to offer a variety of events for the campus community. Events are designed to promote and enhance the learning and discovery of students, faculty, and staff in a liberal arts setting.

If events are not displaying, please check back as they are added throughout the year.

Pop in and Study

This weekly event provides a space for students to come along, set a learning goal, and work independently or with peers on their goal(s). Research has shown that goal setting can encourage task-directed behavior, which is important for students to make progress toward tasks that are important in their lives. What better way to study than with popcorn, snacks, and soda, plus expert advice and guidance from support specialists, including Academic Coaches, Writing Tutors, and University Librarians.

Location: Collaboration Gallery, Harte Center for Learning and Teaching
Date: Every Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. during the academic term.
