Information for faculty about student disability accommodations in the classroom.

The Courses and Degrees Committee requires that faculty provide information about disability accommodations on their syllabus. We encourage faculty to go beyond the standard statement and use their syllabus to indicate a commitment to create a welcoming environment for students with disabilities and place an emphasis on inclusive course design.

Disability Resources encourages faculty to think about ways that course design can impact accessibility and utilize principles of universal design to increase access for all students.
