Accommodations and Dining

Summer College Programs

For summer programs, W&L reserves a limited number of dormitory-style rooms on campus. These accommodations include two twin beds, shared gender-specific hall bathrooms and showers, kitchen and laundry facilities, and a common sitting area. All on-campus lodging offers Wi-Fi and is within a short walk of free parking. The residence halls are about a five-minute walk from the main campus, where most programming takes place. Guests must provide their own linens and towels. Residence hall space is not available during the academic year.

Weekend Seminars

W&L’s fall, winter, and spring weekend seminars remain a popular offering of Lifelong Learning, providing participants with a substantive and engaging weekend getaway in the beautiful surroundings of Lexington and Rockbridge County. Participants stay in local inns, while the program sessions, receptions, dinners, and lunches take place on campus. Each seminar begins on Friday afternoon and concludes after lunch on Saturday.
