Allegra Steck

Allegra joined the CPD team in May 2022, moving over from the Law School where she spent almost four years supporting the Deans’ Suite, Law Library, and Frances Lewis Law Center. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Lake Erie College with a B.A. in Equine Stud Farm Management, then spent 30 years in the hospitality industry in addition to establishing her own successful horse breeding/training/sales business, importing horses from overseas. She moved to academia after having her son Jonathan and now spends her free time shuttling him to and from his budding baseball and soccer ambitions from their home base in beautiful Rockbridge county. She is a fierce and dedicated supporter of all things relating to diversity, inclusion, and equality and her door is always open to all.
