What encouragement would you give to a student considering counseling?
Come in sooner rather than later, as it is much easier to address change when you start early. At an academically rigorous school like W&L with fast-paced terms, it is normal to feel overwhelmed. Also, counseling costs are included in your W&L fees, so there will never be another time when it is more convenient or less expensive than it is while you are a student. The skills you develop in counseling can help you maintain good health throughout your life.
