Professor Kwiatkowski is a behavioral economist, using theory and lab experiments to explore information transmission topics such as price-quality inference. Professor Kwiatkowski enjoys teaching and searching for the perfect graph to communicate complex data. Professor Kwiatkowski is passionate about economics education, and loves strategizing how to communicate economic principles clearly and effectively, whether it’s the basics of the supply-and-demand model, the mathematics of auction theory, or anything in between. Outside of academia, Professor Kwiatkowski loves spending time in nature with his wife and 3-year-old in Charlottesville, Virginia, and is always up for playing a game of chess, drinking boba on a hot day, or discussing the history of math.
