Research
Our research looks at the various factors that impact how accurately individuals perceive others and are perceived by others. We are working on better understanding how group identities and stereotypes moderate this process. We are currently looking at how being a member of a gender or sexual minority group (LGBTQIA), having a specific political affiliation or levels of religiosity/ spirituality, impacts the accuracy of perceptions.
We are also working on a project looking at the reception students make of their professors.
