Curriculum vitae

Zefeng joined W&L as an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in 2025. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Analytics from Bentley University. His teaching focuses on business analytics, statistics, and data-driven decision-making, emphasizing hands-on projects and real-world applications to help students develop practical skills in analyzing and interpreting complex data.

Zefeng’s current research centers on causal inference and data analytics, with a particular focus on digital asset adoption and long-term asset management. For example, he investigates how emerging cryptocurrencies and economic uncertainties shape consumer financial behavior and explores suitable investment strategies for better retirement outcomes. His work has been published in the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, Journal of Consumer Affairs, International Journal of Bank Marketing, among others, and he has served as a reviewer for journals in the Nature family.
