Place a call

• Dial the four-digit extension for on-campus calls
• Dial 9 for local, off-campus calls
• Dial 9 and area code for off-campus, non-local calls

Reset voicemail security code (Initial Login Only)

1. Press soft key on phone marked "Voicemail."
2. Enter default security code (obtain from your administrative assistant or contact the Information Desk, 540-458-4357)
3. Follow the prompts to enter a new code and finish voicemail setup. Note: you will not receive voicemail until setup has been completed

Check messages on campus

1. Pick up the handset or select the Speaker button
2. Select the Voicemail soft key
3. Enter your security code and follow the prompts

Check messages off campus

1. Dial (540) 458-4200
2. Press the # key
3. Enter your four-digit extension
4. Enter your security code
