Undergraduate Disability Resources

Welcome!

Washington and Lee University is home to exceptional students who are intelligent, honorable, curious, compassionate, and collaborative. Every year, this highly qualified group of students includes people with disabilities. W&L's strength depends on the talent, dedication, and diversity that characterize our students, faculty, and staff. Knowing that students with disabilities are integral to the quality of our campus community, our mission is to ensure that students with disabilities are provided with equal access to all college programs, activities and services.

Disability Resources works collaboratively with each student requesting accommodations to determine eligibility, and to identify reasonable accommodations that are necessary to the student without altering the fundamental nature of the academic program. Our work is guided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Requesting Accommodations

Disability Resources is ready to help you ensure access to all University programs and activities. To start the process, please complete the “Request for Accommodation of Disability form," and provide documentation of a disability.
