Service Opportunities

Beta Alpha Psi members take pride in giving back to the community. As a result, Beta Alpha Psi offers ample opportunities for self-development and community service. All members of the organization are required to perform community service to fulfill membership requirements. These hours may be completed not only through sanctioned tutoring and chapter-wide service opportunities, but also through service completed with fraternities, sororities, athletic teams, and any other voluntary service with other charitable organizations. Beta Alpha Psi partners with the Rockbridge County SPCA, W&L Campus Kitchens, W&L FeelGood, and Junior Achievement to provide opportunities for members to complete service hours.

Tutoring

Every candidate will be required to complete two hours of community service by tutoring introductory accounting students (ACCT 100, 201, and 202). These sessions offer candidates a valuable opportunity to utilize their accounting knowledge and give back to the student body.

Chapter Events

Each semester the entire chapter works together on a community service event.
