Considering a major in economics but not sure what to do with it? Maybe you've already declared your major, but you're not quite sure how to apply the classroom knowledge to a professional setting. The Economics Department organizes a trip biennially to Washington, D.C., for students to explore career opportunities.
Students have the opportunity to network with alumni, get leads on internships and jobs and enjoy two days of site visits to federal agencies, public interest groups, lobbying firms, not-for-profits, media outlets and think tanks.
For more information, contact Professor Linda Hooks, head of the Economics Department.
