Economics Trip

What can you do with an economics major?

Considering a major in economics but not sure what to do with it? Maybe you've already declared your major, but you're not quite sure how to apply the classroom knowledge to a professional setting. The economics trip is a two-day trip to Washington D.C. over Reading Days for students who want to learn more about careers in economics.

You'll network with alumni, get leads on internships and jobs and enjoy two days of site visits to federal agencies, public interest groups, lobbying firms, not-for-profits, media outlets and think tanks.

This program is co-sponsored by Career and Professional Development and the Williams School of Commerce, Economics, and Politics. Please contact Lauren Jensen, Director of Experiential Programming, at (540) 458-8604 or ljensen@wlu.edu with questions.
