James S. Goodenberger Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics
James Goodenberger joined Washington and Lee University in 2016 with a Ph.D. from Ohio State University. He teaches Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and Statistics. James’ research looks at how spatial-dynamic processes, such as wildfires or a spreading invasive species population, affect economic systems and seeks to find optimal strategies for managing the costs and damages associated with them. He has presented his work at regional workshops, national conferences, and in the classroom.
