Applications for membership are available here.

The application window for 2018 is October 8th-21st. WLSC will hold an open meeting on October 15th from 12:15-1:15 in Huntley 327 during which a team will present a sample final presentation and members will be available to answer questions regarding the group or the application.

Student Consulting is open to sophomores and juniors with a minimum GPA of 3.2. The number of new members accepted in each application cycle differs depending on available positions, and the group ranges from 18 to 30 members.

Members register for Student Consulting as a one-credit course that counts towards the Experiential (EXP) graduation requirement. The course is scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. On Mondays, the entire organization meets; Wednesdays and Fridays are reserved for group meetings and meetings with clients, as necessary.

Accepted students are welcome to begin attending meetings immediately, but if a class conflicts with the Monday 12:15 p.m. time slot it is perfectly acceptable, and encouraged, to wait and begin attending meetings during the winter term. Accepted students will be asked to indicate project preferences and will then be assigned to projects based on their talents and interests, and as space permits.
