Student Philanthropy Today's Students Investing in Today’s W&L

Washington and Lee Students receive an education grounded in honor, integrity, leadership and excellence thanks to our wonderful W&L community near and far. Student philanthropy is an important way for our current students to pave the way for next generation's scholars.

Senior Class Agents

Each year we have seven well-deserving student volunteers that hold the role of Lead Class Agents. This team of students work together to select a diverse representation of their class to serve as Associate Class Agents. This year, our team selected a group of 42 of their peers to hold this title. Other volunteer responsibilities include: managing a group of Associate Class Agents, assisting in training sessions, and organizing class events. Our Lead Class Agents are an integral part of the Senior Gift campaign. You can read more about our Class of 2018 Lead Class Agents here.

Senior Gift

The Senior Gift Campaign is an education-based program that reinforces the sense of community amongst the Senior class. The restructuring of the Senior Gift program now mimics the young alumni experience and provides a direct ask to 100% of the class, with the hope that our future graduates become active, altruistic young alumni.
