Ronni Gardner Development Officer for Special Projects
Ronni Miller Gardner has been with the W&L development office since 2005 following 12 years in university advancement at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ronni brings to W&L experience in fundraising, public relations and special event management. She is the lead staff member for W&L's 50th reunion program and manages the work of the committee and the reunion gift effort. She also led the fundraising for the Lee Chapel & Museum renovation in 2006 and the related endowment campaign. Ronni lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and serves W&L from her home office when she is not in Lexington. She is married to Paul Gardner, Associate Dean of the UNC School of Dentistry, and has two children, Tucker and Lily.
Education: University of Florida, B.S.
Areas of Responsibility: Management of the 50th reunion gift effort, major development celebrations, editorial contributor for Women In General, W&L's electronic newsletter on alumnae and philanthropy.
Hobbies/Interests: Spending weekends watching sports, especially the Tar Heels and the St. Louis Cardinals, reading (not enough!), cooking and taking long walks with her hound dog Homer.
