Elizabeth Outland Branner Assistant Dean for Law School Advancement

Elizabeth oversees fundraising and alumni relations in the Law School. She has been with the Law School since 1999 and is involved in all aspects of advancing the Law School’s mission through fundraising, alumni relations, and communications. She brings to W&L prior experience in the corporate world with marketing and management, as well as higher education experience in college admissions and fundraising, including having served as the director of the Annual Fund at Mary Baldwin College. Elizabeth lives in Lexington with her husband Wade, assistant athletic director for media relations at Virginia Military Institute, and their two children, Harrison and Margaret. She is the daughter of Grover C. Outland, Jr., a 1951 graduate of the W&L School of Law.
