Judith Wubah joined Washington and Lee’s Corporate and Foundation Relations staff in 2013. She brings to her position her experience of serving on panels for various federal agencies and teaching at a number of higher education institutions. She came to W&L from Virginia Tech, where she established and served as the Director of the Office of Health Professions Advising. Previously Judith served on the faculty at the University of Florida and James Madison University. Judith is responsible for the management of externally funded science grants from proposal preparation to closeout. In this role she liaisons with internal administrators to ensure compliance of federal rules and regulations. Judith’s academic role at W&L includes teaching and oversight of W&L’s Richmond Spring Term program, in which students gain introductory experience in a medical practice with physicians in the Richmond, VA area. Judith and her husband, W&L Provost Daniel Wubah, live in Lexington and have two daughters. Their youngest, Araba, is a member of W&L’s class of 2017.
