Robert Koch Annual Fund Leadership Giving Officer
Robert Koch joined Washington and Lee's development staff in 2014. Prior to his move into development work, Robert served for a decade in undergraduate admissions at Davidson, Rhodes, and since 2008 at W&L. His past responsibilities included managing alumni volunteers, international student recruitment and W&L's special program for children of alumni, Navigating the Admissions Maze. Robert helped complete the Honor Our Past, Build Our Future capital campaign as a part of the leadership gift team and now focuses his attention on securing direct support for the University's operating budget with the Annual Fund and Parents Fund. Robert grew up in the Shenandoah Valley and enjoys time on campus when not traveling the country visiting alumni, parents, and friends of the University from his home office in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Areas of Responsibility: Management of communication, programming and solicitation of unrestricted leadership support with The President’s Society from alumni, parents, and friends of the University. Robert also coordinates outreach efforts through texting.
Hobbies/Interests: Staying active by running, hiking, and swimming after enjoying barbecue, craft beer and other culinary explorations around the country.
