Alumni Greek Council
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Excerpted from the AGC Constitution
Purpose: The purpose of the Council shall be to promote the well being of the Greek system at Washington and Lee through the participation by alumni in Greek affairs.
Objectives: In pursuance of its purpose, the Council shall seek to accomplish the following objectives:
A. Serve as a source of guidance to the alumni organizations of the chapters in the Greek system of Washington and Lee so as to promote the achievement of the goals of the University and the individual fraternity and sorority chapters.
B. Provide the primary focus of an effort to secure active participation by alumni of each chapter in chapter activities.
C. Provide a channel of communication between alumni and students on a system-wide basis by establishing relations with the Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Council.
