Important Dates for Students Living in Campus Housing
The term "Residence Halls" refers to all campus housing facilities: Gaines, Graham-Lees, Woods Creek Apartments, the Village, theme and Greek houses

UNDERGRADUATE FALL TERM 2016
Various dates, fall sports teams move in. Coaches will issue room keys.

New Student Move-In Day!
The Leading Edge participants move in. Room keys will be distributed from a table outside of the residence halls.
Saturday, September 3, 2016
9:00 AM-1:30 PM
New Student Move-In AND Check-In Day - mandatory for ALL New Students!
Transfer students and the remaining members of the Class of 2020 that did not participate in The Leading Edge will move into their residence hall rooms and ALL NEW students check-in on Saturday, September 3, 2016. Room keys will be distributed from a table outside of the residence halls.

Residence Halls open to all returning students. Upper Division students may not move-into campus housing prior to this date with the exception of fall athletes, residential life staff, FYOC and select other groups with approval from the Office of Residential Life.

Thanksgiving Break; Students are NOT required to leave campus. Residence Halls remain OPEN
December 18, 2016 - January 6, 2017
Winter Break; Residence Halls are CLOSED. All students in campus housing are required to leave campus within 24 hours of their last fall term exam and no later than 5pm on December 17.
*Students on Study Abroad winter term must completely move out of campus housing 24 hours after their last fall term exam and no later than 5pm on December 17.

University Housing re-opens to women participating in Panhellenic Recruitment (women registered for recruitment, Rho Gammas, and Panhellenic Council) along with RA staff. No other residents will be permitted to move-in before Saturday, January 7. Note: RAs and Public Safety will be closely monitoring University housing. Any student in University housing without approval will be reported to The Office of Residential Life.

Washington Break; students are not required to leave campus. Residence Halls remain OPEN

Spring Break; students are not required to leave campus. Residence Halls remain OPEN.
*Students on Study Abroad spring term are required to completely move-out of campus housing 24 hours after their last Winter term exam and no later than 5pm Saturday, April 15.Students may not store belongings in campus housing while on Study Abroad and students will not be permitted to return to campus housing at the conclusion of their Study Abroad program.

End of the academic year; Students are required to vacate campus housing within 24 hours of their last exam and no later than 5pm on Sunday, May 21 unless they are a graduating senior, RA, or participating in graduation week events in which late stay approval must be requested in writing and approved by the Office of Residential Life.
