On January 30, 2018, four W&L undergraduate students (1 First Year and 3 Seniors) were brought before the SJC on the charges of Vandalism/Destruction of Property Conduct Unbecoming of a W&L Student. The charges were brought forth by 4 student complainants, who were not present at the hearing.

On January 21, 2018, a W&L First Year appeared before the SJC for the following charges:Possession/Use of Illegal Drugs/Controlled Substances Conduct Unbecoming of a W&L StudentThe student was found responsible for Possession/Use of Illegal Drugs/Controlled Substances by a vote of 9-0.The student was found not responsible for Conduct Unbecoming of a W&L Student by a vote of 9-0.

A student was found responsible for Possession/Use of Illegal Drugs/Controlled Substances, Distribution/Sale of Illegal Drugs/Controlled Substances, and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student. The following sanctions were assessed: Conduct probation until graduation 2019 with automatic suspension in the case of any violation of university drug policy. Community Restitution for 150 hours due on by the end of the 2017-2018 academic year.

A student was found responsible for Possession/Use of Illegal Drugs/Controlled Substances. The following sanctions were assessed: Conduct probation for the next 52 weeks and Community Restitution for 10 hours due on 04/06/18.

On October 9-10, 2017, four W&L Juniors were brought before the SJC on the charge of Conduct Unbecoming of a W&L Student. The charge was brought forth by a student complainant, who was present throughout the hearing.

A student was found responsible for Sale of Illegal Drugs/Controlled Substances and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington and Lee student. The following sanctions were assessed: Conduct probation for the next 52 weeks, community Restitution for 200 hours due on 05/22/18 and move to on-campus housing
