With over 130 student organizations to choose from, as well as speakers, concerts, movies and events throughout the year, life at W&L is never dull. And if the right opportunity doesn't exist, students are given the tools and encouragement to start something new.
The First-Year Leadership Council will assist new students residing on campus by creating social opportunities to meet others, interact, and have fun! The Council will also act as a voice for new students who may have ideas for social and educational events, as well as concerns about issues associated with residence hall or extracurricular life at the University.
At Washington and Lee University, most students will get to know the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students and staff within the Office of Student Affairs. The office provides leadership to departments within the Division of Student Affairs and works with all aspects of student life, both inside and outside the classroom.
