FYOC is a group of approximately 100 upper-division students who help to coordinate and facilitate events before, during and after OWeek.
Arrivals and Orientation
The 5-day Orientation Week introduces the newest members of our community to those Washington and Lee traditions which are central, both philosophically and functionally, to the University. The Honor system, speaking tradition, student self-governance, undergraduate curriculum, educational and social events, student organizations and meeting fellow classmates are just a few of the many highlights of the Orientation program.
To view the schedule of events during Orientation Week, please click on the First-Year & New Student Orientation banner to the right to see the online brochure.
Members of our Student Affairs staff take great pride in working as collaborative partners with our students. Please explore our website and feel free to call (540-458-8754) or e-mail us (firstname.lastname@example.org). We would enjoy talking with you!
