I currently work at an investment bank as a equity research analyst. While not in the same field clearly, my Anthropology major provided a useful framework for analysis and research, particularly providing the necessary tools to look at information in a multi-faceted approach. Also, particularly important with my previous job on Capital Hill, but still very relevant today, Anthropology provided writing and communication skills that I find valuable and surprisingly unique today in any employment career.

Overall, I found the major to be useful and applicable in daily work life, but I also often suggest to students to at least minor in studies that translates into more ubiquitous career options as well (unless of course they know they want to enter the field post-college).
