Kristina Roney returned to her passion for French literature following a career in finance and accounting. In addition to her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in French literature, she holds a Master’s of Taxation and maintains active licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Kristina leverages her diverse academic background by studying literature from an historical-economic perspective. Her monograph in-progress focuses on the 19th century and the Industrial Revolution, looking at the birth of modern finance through the literature of Honoré de Balzac.
