Joshua Lawrence Lazard
Professor Lazard teaches courses that study the intersections of religion and culture in the context of African American Christianity. His critical research interests pay attention to the sounds of religious blackness as they bear on fugitivity, theories of imagination, pragmatism, and Black critical theory.
