Research

Ongoing experiments involve the application of laser-based measurements to air and water flows that are governed by mixing concentrated in small regions. Recent work includes temperature measurements in supersonic jet flows by employing laser-induced gratings, velocity measurements in natural convection plumes, and visualizations of open channel flow over a corrugated substrate.
