Chambers Ridge Great Trad Climbing

  1. Stinky Pinky 5.9+ Trad or tope rope
Goshen classic, this climb begins up the smooth face which faces the river and works its way up to the obvious ledge. Follow the thin crack up through the white face to huge jugs, to top this route out.
  2. Kneecapped 5.5 Trad or tope rope
Begin at the off width crack to the right of Stinky Pinky, facing the river. Work your way up the off width crack to the blunt arête.
  3. Bodybag 5.2 Top rope
A Goshen classic 30' right of kneecap, facing the river. Take the left trending slabby dihedral to the pine tree. Walk off access.
  4. Likin' Lichen 5.6 Top rope
Around the corner from Bodybag, look for the boulder at the base of the climb that juts out like a diving board coming out of the ground at a 45 degree angle. Climb up through the dihedral and top out at the ramp next to Body Bag.
  5. S Turns 5.9 Trad or top rope
Forty-feet to the left of the AT Blaze, look up for the smooth face for the large orange spot with the undercling crack next to the smooth face. Follow that crack up to the ramp and walk off.
  6. AT Blaze 5.6
Climb begins where the approach trail meets Chambers Ridge. Look up on the face 15' for the white blaze. Follow the thin crack to left of the blaze which tops out at the ramp.
  7. Undeveloped Wall
No clear access to this wall, but a wall that holds potential. On the far left end of this wall is Precarious Rapel 5.6 (look for the webbing tied around a tree which hangs over the cliffs edge). Lead this climb and then rappel off the tree or attempt to walk out. Excellent opportunities to set up sport routes.
  8. Wayside Wall
This short wall offers several bouldering problems to warm up the tendons. There is a limited number of top roping options here, however the sedimentary rocks in this wall makes for poor rock quality. To get to this wall park at the wayside (shelter and picnic tables) and cross the street. This roadside wall continues downstream towards Laurel Run.
