Black FLEX Conference 2022

February 5, 2022: The theme for the third annual Black FLEX Conference is Global Cooperation. It's easy to find yourself living inside of a bubble while going about your everyday life as a Black student in the US. In this regard, Black FLEX: Global Cooperation will be a welcome adventure. This conference will nurture your curiosity by exposing participants to an array of cultures and perspectives. Young leaders will be immersed in a global experience with interactive workshops and diverse panels. Black Flex: Global Cooperation will touch on topics such as appearance within the Black community, professionalism, advocacy, and sustainable development. This leadership conference is hosted by the Student Association for Black Unity.

Black Future Leaders Experience Conference

October 24, 2020: The Black Playbook. Come and learn the plays that you'll need in your playbook to help you win the game of life. The wide array of panelists and speaker-led discussions will aid you in becoming your own MVP, ready to take on the challenges of everyday Black life. This year we will be discussing identity, mental health, and financial literacy, along with many other survival tactics that will ensure that you are in the best shape for game day. This is definitely the game that you won't want to miss. This virtual leadership conference is hosted by the Student Association for Black Unity at Washington & Lee University.

Black Future Leaders Experience Conference

February 8, 2020: During the Black FLEX conference, we will expose scholars to an array of topics through various developmental sessions, student-led panels and keynote speakers. From discussions surrounding mental health, financial literacy, politics, professionalism and more, students will emerge better equipped to produce tremendous transformations to society. This all-day leadership conference is sponsored by the Student Association for Black Unity at Washington & Lee University.
