The Multicultural Student Association (MSA) is proud to collaborate with other campus groups to host a the second annual celebration of Diversity Day. Diversity Day seeks to celebrate and introduce students to the wealth of diversity on Washington and Lee's campus. Please join us for some of the great events we have planned throughout the week!

11:00am - 2:00pm | Tastes of the Marketplace | Marketplace
Dining Services is putting on a full banquet of different tastes of types of cuisine. Join us in the Marketplace to eat some of your favorite foods - and try some new ones!
2:00pm - 3:00pm | Japanese Tea Ceremony | Watson Pavilion (beside Tucker Hall)
The Japanese Tea Society is hosting a tea and sweets presentation in W&L's Japanese Tea Room, Senshin'an. Stop by to learn about the Traditional Art of Chanoyu, or the Way of Tea. And enjoy some sweets and green tea while you're at it!
3:00pm - 4:00pm | Latin American Dessert Tasting | Commons Living Room
The Latino Student Organization is hosting something pretty sweet - a dessert reception! Come and try a host of different traditional desserts from Latin America prepared by your favorite students. It's sure to satisfy any sweet tooth!
4:30pm - 6:00pm | Showing of "First Generation" | CGL 115 (updated)
The Questbridge Scholars are hosting a viewing of "First Generation," a documentary about first generation college hopefuls. The showing will be followed by a discussion of the themes and lessons of the film.

5:00pm | Avi Shabbat | Hillel House
Join Hillel and W&L professors for Avi Shabbat, which promotes discussion and awareness of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from a neutral point of view. All are welcome and no prior knowledge of the conflict is necessary to attend. Food will be provided. The event is co-sponsored by the Avi Schaffer Fund.
