Key Program Features

  • Multiple years of conducting and pedagogical training done in close, purposely small groups, not the one semester of basic conducting in a class of 25 typical of large university music programs.
  • Immediate leadership positions with the W&L choirs, including assistant conductor and section leader slots typically reserved for graduate students.
  • Podium time with the W&L ensembles, including the chance to conduct advanced works with the renowned W&L Singers throughout the nation during the latter years.
