“Come and hear the contrasting styles of Mozart, the most Classical of all Classical composers from the 18th century counterpoised with Brahms, the Romantic Classicist of the 19th century.” - Tim Gaylard

The Marlbrook Chamber Players will present “A Classical and Romantic Afternoon,” a concert of works by Mozart and Brahms.

To start the program will be Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s elegant Piano Trio in G major, K 564 with McArdle, Goudimova and Gaylard. To close, all five musicians will play Johannes Brahms’s magnificent and renowned Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34, revealing the young composer as an exponent of a thoroughly Romantic style.

A reception in the Lykes Atrium of Wilson Hall will be held immediately following the concert.

The concert is free and no tickets are required.
