Faith Levine is in love with movement.  She began her training in modern dance at Trillium School for the Arts in Lewisburg, West Virginia at age six. Twelve years later, she was the youngest choreographer ever to have worked adjudicated and shown at The West Virginia Dance Festival. Levine received her degree in modern dance from The University of Utah in 2005.  Upon graduation, she joined Oslund+Co/Dance in Portland Oregon; choreographed and produced three evenings of work on her own company and taught at various dance studios and as a guest at Portland State University. Levine has lived in Charlottesville since 2010 and has spent the last six years teaching dance, Pilates, yoga, and as dance faculty at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Her classes have a strong emphasis on alignment and form, and honoring individual limits while pushing boundaries. She is a regular guest artist with Trillium Performing Arts (Lewisburg, West Virginia) and Harrisonburg Dance Collective. She is a current company member in both concorDance Contemporary (Crozet, Virginia) and Progeny Dance (Lexington, Virginia).
