Professor David R. Blumenthal will present a lecture on Salvador Dali's Aliyah at 5:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall in WIlson Hall on Monday, January 23, 2017.  Professor Blumenthal is the Jay and Leslie Cohen Professor of Judaic Studies at Emory College of Arts and Sciences. Professor Blumenthal has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. He teaches and writes on constructive Jewish theology, medieval Judaism, Jewish mysticism, and holocaust studies.  He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Religion. 

Salvador Dali's 25 lithographs for Aliyah will be on view in the Lykes Atrium.

Reception immediately following the lecture.  The public is invited to attend both the lecture and the reception..
