Faculty Recital: "An Eclectic Potpourri"

Pianist, Ting-Ting Yen will join singers Gregory and Lori Parker and violinist, Jaime McArdle to present a wide-ranging recital of old and modern music. The program will begin with the Parkers performing Michel Pignolet de Montéclair’s charming duet cantata, Tircis et Climéne that will feature W&L’s recently acquired two-manual Watson harpsichord. Baritone, Gregory Parker, will perform David Conte’s American Death Ballads, a set of four songs that was the winner of the National Association of Teachers of Singing 2016 Art Song Composition Contest. Yen and McArdle will play the beautiful Violin Sonata in A, Op. 13 by Gabriel Fauré.
