Majors, Minors and Programs of Study

All schools say they have the "most majors" - but at Washington and Lee we believe in something different. Instead of a vast array of specialized subjects, we offer majors and minors that will give you a complete experience. Our programs teach you beyond textbook, offer experiences in and out of the classroom, and prepare you for beyond graduation - whether that's graduate school, a job, or something totally different. Our programs, coupled with our liberal arts philosophy, prepare each student individually and uniquely. Each student chooses their own path, their own focus, their own passion. Find your passion below.

Our list of majors, minors, and programs of study is listed below. See something you like? Check out the University Catalog to search for more details. Something missing? Don't worry - Washington and Lee students are known for being able to create their own major based on their specific interests.
