Board of Education decision stimulated an oral history project involving extensive interviews with former public school students, teachers, and administrators, facilitated by undergraduate student assistants. More recently, Professor DeLaney is examining manuscripts, newspapers, school board minutes, and the governors' papers at the Library of Virginia.
