Thanks to the Knight Fellowship I was able to accept an unpaid summer internship with the Public Rights Division of the California Attorney General's Office. Within the Public Rights Division, I worked closely with attorneys in the Natural Resources Section. Specifically, I assisted in outlining and developing legal arguments in ongoing natural resource litigation. It was an excellent learning experience, which allowed me to simultaneously develop my legal skills and protect the environment. In addition to my legal work, I had the opportunity to attend several enjoyable and enlightening excursions, such as to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. It was truly an unforgettable summer experience and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity that the Knight Fellowship provided me.
